Rick and I had the best date! More than likely it will probably be our last one before Sawyer gets here! Rick has been working on a project at work and it was time for the presentation. His boss presents their work on the project to his boss and other big wigs of the company. Last week, Rick's boss came to Rick minutes before the presentation with food poisoning and asked Rick if he could do the presentation. So without time to prepare to present, Rick waltzed into the meeting and presented to his Boss's Boss and other important people, and knocked their socks off! For doing so well, he was rewarded with Diamond Club Astro's tickets! Our school had just toured Minute Maid Park, so I knew how great these seats were and about all the perks that went with them! And I knew the seats were very pricey (these were $375 a piece!) So I was very excited to have this opportunity! I was going to leave school, pick up the boys, take them home where my mom would meet us, and head with Rick to the game. I got in the parking lot, in 90 degree+ weather/36 weeks pregnant, and my car wouldn't start! Some wonderful people I work with tried to jump start my car, but we had no luck! I was so fortunate that one of my students and his dad drove by and stopped to check on me. He tried helping us jumpstart the car too with no luck! So he took my battery out, took me to the auto parts store to get a new battery, took me back, and put the battery in my car! And thank goodness it started! So, after almost an hour and a half in the heat, I raced to pick up the boys, met my mom at my house, and turned around and left with Rick to go to the game! I didn't look or probably smell great, but knew we were going to have a great time! We got there and entered the diamond club where we were treated like royalty! We dined in the Diamond Club at their five star unlimited buffet. Then we went out to our seats where we were served by our own personal waiter! We were so close to home plate - we were closer to the batter than the pitcher was to the batter! It was a great game! The Astros beat the Rockies 7 to 3 ending their 5 game losing streak! What a night!
To those near and far, we hope this blog keeps you as close to us as you are to our hearts! We are blessed and want to share our blessings with you all!

34 Weeks Pregnant
I had my 34 week check up! I am going every two weeks now! Everything is going well! I have put on 2 pounds, for a total of 18 pounds, bringing me up to 128 pounds! I think those 2 pounds went straight to Sawyer because my stomach feels huge! I have been having contractions as usual, but nothing too consistent. They are mostly at night when they get a little tough. The doctor said it is my body's way of telling me to take it easy! Someone needs to tell my body that I have two active little boys, a house to clean, and laundry to do! One night though they were consistent for about an hour and a half. And they were in my back! It was excruciating! I was just about ready to go into L&D when they stopped! Thank goodness! But my back has been killing me! I am going to bed pretty soon after we put the boys down just to lay down and get the stress off my back! And I am spending most of my time at school staying off my feet when I can! I learned from my pregnancy with Everett that taking care of myself and my baby needs to come first! I just have to remind myself of that occassionally! But I have both my bag and Sawyer's bag packed and ready to go just in case. I am thinking though that he'll follow in his brothers footsteps and be a couple days late! We'll see! In two weeks I go back for the Strep B test, and they will check to see if I am progressing. Seeing as I could never progress on my own even once labor started or my water broke, I don't expect too much! But I look forward to going and hearing his precious heartbeat!

Awanas Skate Party
To celebrate the end of Awanas the kids had a skate party! Ricky had a blast with his friends! Everett liked having two stable feet on the ground! He thought it was cool hanging out with Mommy!
Daddy took the boys around the rink!
They did really well! Slow but steady!

Awanas Graduation
The boys spent the school year in Awanas. Everett was in the Puggles class, and Ricky was in the Cubbies class. Next year, Everett will be joining Ricky and Brooklyn in the Cubbies class. They can't wait! In the Cubbies class they memorize bible verses and earn patches! Everett was already learning his verses with Ricky. The ceremony was really neat! Rick and I were both very proud of the boys!
