Zoo - February 2011

We always have a great time at the zoo! Our family went with Grammy and Tim, Heather and Heidi, and Amy, Richard, and Cameron. It was a cool morning, but the weather ended up perfect! Favorite things we did we the petting zoo, carousel, and feeding the giraffes. Sawyer's whole had was in the mouth of a giraffe! He loved it! After the zoo, we went to the Aquarium for lunch! It was a funfilled day!

A Day at the Park - 2/19/11

When the weather is nice we head outdoors! Saturday, we spent the morning at the neighborhood park! Ricky spent his time climbing trees. Everett climbed equipment. Sawyer enjoyed the swing. Love my boy time!

Sawyer - 8 Months Old - 2/18/11

Our sweet Sawyer is 8 months old! He loves to pull himself up to a standing position. He is even trying to stand up all on his own without having something to pull up on. He gets his legs straight, his arms straight and then gets stuck there trying to figure out the rest! He loves to cruise on furniture. He is on the go! Our family loves to spend time together outside! Sawyer loves to swing and play with his brothers! He drinks from a sippy cup. He is still pretty much bald and toothless! He has some little white buds poking out on the bottom, but nothing yet! He has had 3 double ear infections in six weeks. :( This last set one ear was filled with pus and the other ear the eardrum was bulging horribly. He has never cried so much - he must have been in so much pain. I worried his appendix was bursting or something was really wrong he screamed so hard and so long! Poor guy! Other than that he is always smiling! Everywhere we go people comment on our smiley guy! He has just started the separation anxiety stage. He doesn't like when mommy leaves the room. And in the mornings when I drop him off he is starting to cling to me - but no tears! What a fun little guy!
Definitely going to be a heartbreaker!

Waving his Terrible Towel!
Showing his Steeler pride

He loves to ride the carousel!

Go, go, go! He loves the walker!
Just try and catch me!

Swinging is his favorite thing to do!

Everett's 2nd Set of Tubes

Everett's tubes fell out and we were back to the endless, antibiotic resistant ear infections! So here we go with Everett's second set of tubes. He played video games before going back. Then he changed clothes, and played a little bit more before going back. Taking him back was so hard for mommy. They put him in a wagon and pulled him away. He was crying, and it broke my heart! It was a short procedure, and the doctor came out saying she wishes they were all that easy! We were relieved it went well. The first time he had difficulty with his lungs under anesthesia, so we were worried. We went back to recovery to wake him up. He wasn't a happy camper, but he was doing well! He woke up crying he didn't like the strawberry mask and he didn't want it anymore! We heard about that mask for awhile. They discharged us, and we headed home. He vomitted several times on the way home. Luckily I was in the back with him to help! When we got home, Mommy, Daddy, and Everett all climbed in bed and watched Despicable Me. Everett ate a ton, and never did nap that day! He told me they had to hold him down tight to give him the strawberry mask, and he doesn't want to do that again! :0( We are thankful the procedure and recovery went smoothly!

He looks like a handsome doctor

Ricky's first baseball practice - 2/16/11

Ricky is so excited to be playing baseball (kball)! His first practice was so fun! He was so enthusiastic. Ricky is one of those kids that things just come easily to him. He did a fantastic job and without any previous experience! He loved being part of a team more than anything! Can't wait to go to his first game!

Ricky is so excited!

Sawyer is Seven Months Old - January 18, 2011

Sawyer is seven months old! At seven months old he says Mama and Dada. He gets all around the house in a modified crawl. He gets into a sitting position by himself. He pulls himself up to stand. He even let's go - only to tumble of course! He wants to go, go , go! Like our other boys, we put him in a pot because he is sweet enough to eat! At first, he wasn't too happy about it, but he ended up being a trooper!
