What a difference a week makes! I have definitely gone through a growth spurt! At 18 weeks, I have only put on a total of 7 pounds (up to 111 pounds), but boy has my belly grown! The two pictures below were taken only a week apart. They definitely show my belly popping! I can still fit in my regular clothes, but I am branching out into a few maternity items! Emerson is doing well! I am feeling so good that sometimes I forget I am pregnant! Although that's getting harder to do as I walk by my reflection! We can't wait to see our little guy at our next ultrasound on June 8th!
To those near and far, we hope this blog keeps you as close to us as you are to our hearts! We are blessed and want to share our blessings with you all!

Ricky's Piano Recital
Ricky has been taking a piano class once a week at Primrose. He loves to go, but will NEVER practice at home! I would try everyday! So I was very concerned about his recital. But like everything else, he walked up on that stage and blew us away! He is no Mozart, but he did a great job! His teacher said Ricky is her most excited, enthusiatic student! Hopefully that's not code for wild and crazy! Just kidding! We could tell his teacher adored him! He saves the wild and crazy for home!

11 Months Old
Our little man is 11 months old! A lot going on in his world! He is on the go, go, go!
Sawyer talks a lot and will repeat a lot of what you say. He attempts to say things like Everett and bus, that he is working on but no one would understand quite yet. But he does have quite a few words he knows and uses regularly.
Words Sawyer Says with Meaning:
Mama
Dada
Hi
Nana
Bye
No
More
Go
Easy
Ricky
What Sawyer's Up To:
Favorite thing to do is play with his brothers and try to keep up
Loves books
Enjoys playing with balls
Loves to be outside
Feeds himself his dinner
Walking holding your finger
Will take two steps independently!

Awanas Ceremony 2011
Our boys have completed another year of Awanas! We celebrated at Double Dave's with the Alford family before the Award's Ceremony. Fun was had by all! Then off to the walk across the stage - the boys' favorite thing to do! Everett completed his first year of Cubbies, and he will be a Cubby again next year! Ricky completed his second year of Cubbies and will be a Sparky next year! We love the Awanas program! It has been so good for the boys! And it's so fun going through it with the Alford's!

Shauna Lane Crawfish Boil
We had a blast at our 2nd annual Shauna Lane Crawfish Boil! It was a beautiful day to get together with our neighbors and friends! It's so fun to watch our block grow year to year! No new neighbors have moved in, but we keep on welcoming new babies to the festivities! We start around 4:00 and last until the kids are ready to drop! Then the Dads keep on going into the wee hours of the night! I think next year we should be sure that Mother's Day does not follow the festivities! Dad's need to be sure they're in top form to take care of the Momma's! A great time was had by all!! Can't wait until next year!

Cookout with the Alfords
Weekends are often spent cooking out with the Alfords. This past Saturday night, the last day of April, we had a ton of fun! The kids made their own pizzas for dinner while Rick cooked out for the adults. After dinner, Curt gave Ricky, Everett, and Colson haircuts. Then the kids played in the sprinkler. They enjoyed watermelon and popsicles for dessert. Then we bathed all the kids in the backyard! Of course we had to capture them in all their glory! They had such a great time! Then they played in their pajamas for a little while before going home! The kids slept good that night!
