First Day of School

Love this pic of the big boys headed for kinder and 1st grade!

Mommy didn't get much sleep from all the nervousness and anxiety,
but I did make it thru the morning without tears!!

Daddy of course was as cool as a cucumber - so proud of his boys!

Everyone was so excited!

Sawyer loved walking with his big brothers!

Ricky wants to be a doctor when he grows up!

He could hardly contain his excitement!

Meet the Teacher

We're gearing up for the new school year at Broadway Elementary! 

Mrs. Lendvai and Ricky - 1st Grade

Mrs. Bruner and Everett - Kindergarten

Emerson is 10 Months Old!

His size:
- wears size 4 diaper
- wearing 18-24 month clothes (24)

What he's up to:
- says "Mama", "Hi", "Dada", and "Uh-Oh"

- babbles saying gaga, nana and lots of other gibberish
- he likes to dance and have an audience while he does, he just grins from ear to ear while we watch him
- he waves when he says hi, waves back at strangers, he's quite the charmer

- his crawl is still unusual, but he has started cruising furniture!

- he loves to push around his walker

- he is still quite attached to his mommy
- he poops on the potty and then giggles when we all get excited
- drinking from big boy sippy cups (hard top) for all feedings

- he no longer takes a pacifier
- enjoys playing with his big brothers, he loves to destroy anything they have built
- once he gets over not wanting to wear his helmet, he enjoys bike rides with mommy
- he loves taking baths

How he's teething:
- he has four top teeth and four bottom teeth

What he's eating:
- still on strict diet of only Nutramagen formula
- he is constantly trying to rummage thru the trash in hopes of finding food!
- going to see about retesting him a little earlier so we can get this boy some food!

Bike Ride with the Babes!

I have been looking for a bike trailer for awhile. Finally I found one from a friend from high school. The helmets took some getting used to (mostly for Emerson). But I had so much fun riding bikes with all four boys!!

Splashtown USA

The Alford's had tickets for Splashtown, so we joined them for the day! We took just the big boys, and had so much fun! We were able to ride lots of rides! A good time was had by all! Thanks Alfords!

Hats Off to Grammy!

Grammy brought the boys back hats from her trip to California. They are precious, and the boys love them! Sawyer refused to take his off even in the August heat in Texas!

We are so thankful our baby gates are so effective! Leave it to one of our boys to find their own way!

Emerson's First Haircut

At 9 months old, Emerson was long overdue for his haircut. Unlike his brother Sawyer at this age who was bald, Emerson was getting pretty shaggy. We went to see Celinda at Snip-It's. Emerson didn't even whimper, he was so good! It makes him look like such a big boy, but now we can see those beautiful brown eyes!

Playing in the Fountains

We had fun playing at the fountains at Market Street in the Woodlands and the boys were in rare posing form for pictures! I had to take advantage while I could! What handsome boys I have!
