To those near and far, we hope this blog keeps you as close to us as you are to our hearts! We are blessed and want to share our blessings with you all!
The boys have been Mommy's biggest cheerleader when it comes to running! Everett has even been training with me. So they were super excited to do the Color Run with me! Ricky took a little more convincing because he said he was shy, but I think he ended up having the most fun! We cannot wait to do it again next year and hope to do another run together soon!
On Saturday night the boys went to spend the night with Nana and Pappy, so Mommy and Daddy could spend some time together! We went to Uni Sushi for some yummy food and then out to Cru for some wine and cheese. We stopped by the store to pick up some more wine and cheese to share at home! A nice relaxing evening wining and dining outside on a gorgeous evening!
After sleeping in, we got up and went on an 11 mile trail ride on our bikes! After that, I ran 5 miles! It was another beautiful day to spend outdoors!
We were invited to go visit the Easter Bunny with the Flessas family! We got to see their new house. We're very excited we are practically neighbors!! The boys were excited to see the Easter Bunny, though Emerson was not as excited as his big brothers.
Day 5 of Spring Break, Daddy took off work and we went hiking! The boys favorite part was walking in Spring Creek. Of course Everett fell in! Lots of giggles and a really good time!
On day 4 of Spring Break, we all went out to watch Ricky at his horseback riding lesson! We are so impressed with what a natural Ricky is at riding! He's always had a gift with animals! While he continued his lesson, the rest of us fed the other horses apples and carrots!
On Day 3 of Spring Break, Grammy took us to Pleasure Pier and Rainforest Cafe in Galveston! The big boys were crazy about the rides at the pier! It was fun to see them run around like best friends at an amusement park! The little ones got to ride a few rides. Emerson loved the double decker carousel. Sawyer fell asleep! The Rainforest Cafe was fun for us all! We ate, rode the water ride, and made build a bears!
Day 2 of Spring Break we met friends at North Shore park in the Woodlands. The Quigley, Belcher, Rodgers, Moss, and Kuhn families all came out! We had a picnic, played, and fed the ducks!
Day 1 of Spring Break Ricky had horseback riding lessons, so Katie and I decided to take Everett, Sawyer, Emerson, and Hayden to visit a fire station! The boys got to check out a ladder truck, see a fireman get dressed in his gear, visit where they eat and sleep, and even got to shoot a firehose!
While the big boys were in school, Grammy decided to take us to the Aquarium. It is so fun getting to do things with the little two like we did with the big two!
