Houston Zoo - October 2010

The year we bought a membership to the zoo, and it has been a wise investment! We go often and love it! The boys especially love the Dinosaur Exhibit! We will be sad to see it go!

Ricky and Everett are LOVING Cubbies! It is fun having them in the same class this year! Everett earned his vest! Whoohoo! And they are both working to earn patches! The boys went to church with Nana and Ricky told everyone the story of Adam and Eve and how they ate the forbidden blueberries!

Tamarac Park

We spent a leisurely Sunday afternnon at the park! The weather was gorgeous, and we had a wonderful time as a family! Sawyer got to swing for the very first time! Ricky and Everett fed the fish with Daddy! We treasure these relaxing times!

Sawyer - 3 Months

Sawyer is so much fun! He is such a good, easy, sweet baby! He is always flashing his big, beautiful smile! He is nursing and taking a bottle. He is at 7 feedings a day. He weighs 11 pounds 6 ounces. He is long and skinny! He has been sleeping through the night (7-8 hours) for quite some time. We started putting some rice cereal in his bottle for 1 feeding to get his tummy ready to be introduced to solids. And on 9/22 he ate rice cereal from a spoon and LOVED it! This kid smiles through everything! He has still been sleeping upright in his bouncy seat. We have just started working on getting him to sleep flat. The first night he woke up several times but put himself back to sleep. The second night he adjusted and was perfect! He has been rolling from belly to back consistently since he was 5 weeks old. He just rolled from back to front on 9/19! He loves sitting in his Bumbo. And we just set up the high chair that attaches to a chair, so he can join our family for dinner! He is so happy, and Mommy gets to eat this way! He has started playing with toys. He loves his link chain and red robin scrunchy rattle! His brothers love to dress him up in their build a bear outfits! And he is such a trooper letting them do it! He just watches his brothers with a big smile! He loves to talk, and laugh, and play! He even giggled in his sleep so much his body was shaking, and it caused him to break out in coughs! He brings such joy to our family!
