Look Who's Smiling!

This first picture is one of my favorites - Ricky and Sawyer fell asleep in my bed! So sweet!
Sawyer loves the mornings! Here are some various smile shots and a video clip of his smiles! He has even started to giggle - I am working on catching that! These are all taken on cell phones, so they may not be the best quality. And please ignore my annoying voice! Our Sawyer is a cutie - and such a sweetheart! He's such a happy little guy!

Another Visit to the Children's Museum

We went again to the Children's Museum - the boys never tire of it! We went with Julie, Ethan, and Reese and with Kristen and Addison. We had a blast! They spent a good bit of time playing puppets and dress up. Ricky loved the crafts and Everett loved the trains as usual! After the museum we went to lunch with our friends. Everyone was so well behaved!

Sawyer - 1 Month

It is hard to believe Sawyer has been with us for a month already! And what a month it's been! We had a few visits to the doctor and hospital lab. Sawyer was jaundice, but did not require any extra treatment. He also has a latching problem with nursing. He does better with the shield, but his latching and unlatching causes him to gulp a lot of air. He is quite gassy and uncomfortable. Add to this constipation, and he is always grunting and fighting tummy troubles! But despite all these things, Sawyer is still such a good natured, sweet baby! In his first 3 weeks he has put on an entire pound! He weighs 8 pounds 6 ounces! His favorite thing is to be held! Daddy says Mommy has spoiled him already! He loves to play on his playmat and sleep there too! He has been very busy trying to keep up with his big brothers. He has already been to the mall, playgroups, the zoo, the Children's Museum, a few birthday parties, and even his first movie - Despicable Me!  His big milestones are: he is holding up his head, smiling at Mommy and Daddy (even once at Ricky), following objects with his eyes, and even grasping objects!

Children's Museum - July 19, 2010

We stopped by the Children's Museum at the Woodlands with our Grammy. I didn't have my camera, so these were taken with my phone. This was our first time at the new location. We are so glad it has reopened - the boys were thrilled! We all had a great time! Everett loved the Grocery Store and Trains. Ricky loved the tunnel and making crafts!

Funny Boys

Just some random pics I thought were worth sharing!

Daddy is a huge Miami Vice fan! Can you tell?
Though Ricky is much cuter than Don Johnson!

Everett loves to build things and figure things out!
He was playing with his Lincoln Logs and decided to try on the container for size!
He has a larger than average head, so take a look at what happened!
He was even less thrilled that Mommy wanted to take a picture before helping!
I couldn't resist - I had to capture it!

Everett's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Everett's 3rd birthday at Pump It Up! It is too hot in July to do anything outdoors! We celebrated the weekend following his birthday weekend because we alternate with the Alford's each year! Colson's birthday is the 8th, Everett's the 9th, and Brooklyn's the 10th - so there is a lot of celebrating going on! Everett had a blast jumping with his friends! And he was so excited about his peanut and egg free dinosaur cake and cupcakes made by our friend Julie! We are grateful for all our friends and family who came to help us celebrate!
Everett loves the big slide!

Who does Sawyer look like?

Sawyer looks so much like his brothers! There are many times Daddy and I comment on how much he reminds us of one of them. Here are some random newborn pics for a little comparison! What do you think?
