Emerson is 9 Months Old!

His Health:
- The whole family caught a respiratory virus and it cost Emerson another round of steroids and antibiotics. This is his first steroid since May. Not as good as we would like, but much better than where he was. Despite tubes and adenoids, he's still getting antibiotic resistant ear infections.

His size:
- he's been holding steady at almost 22 pounds
- he is 28 inches long (though we suspect he's much taller)
- wears size 3 diaper, but could probably use a size 4
- wearing 18-24 month clothes (24)

What he's up to:
- says "Mama" and "Hi" consistently and in the correct context, has started saying "Dada"
- babbles saying gaga, nana and other gibberish
- he waves when he says hi, waves back at strangers, he's quite the charmer
- giggling all the time - especially at his big brothers
- his crawl is a little different, he drags his left side in a sort of army crawl, though he's fast and efficient, it's hard for mommy not to worry about this
- he is quite attached to his mommy, major separation anxiety
- drinking from various sippy cups, no more bottles
- he poops on the potty and then giggles when we all get excited
- enjoys playing with his brothers' toys, anything they have is fair game
- loves to stand up - cruises occasionally
- loves to give and get hugs and kisses
- sleeps all the time, awake an average of only six hours a day

How he's teething:
- he has four top teeth and three bottom teeth, a mouth full of teeth and the poor guy doesn't get to eat!
