Emerson's Appointment with the Gastroenterologist

I took the day off to take Emerson to see a gastroenterologist for his Reflux. He was still struggling despite taking Prevacid twice a day. He has been eating a TON to soothe the reflux, so he has put on over 2 pounds in a month! He weighs 13 pounds 8 ounces and is 23 1/4 inches. He's grown 1 1/4 inches. The doctor prescribed that we continue the Prevacid twice a day and added a medication called Bethanecho three times a day. We are hoping this does the trick! As you can see from the pictures he was a happy camper at the appointment (of course!). Maybe he just enjoyed having mommy all to himself for a change!! We go back to the GI at the end of February.
