Ricky's Egg Allergy

Prior to Ricky being diagnosed with food allergies, he suffered from respiratory issues and eczema. Once we cut the egg out of his diet he showed major improvements! When he receives his flu shot or we think he may have had some contact with an item containing egg we can tell by a flare up in his eczema and/or an increase in his wheezing. But he has never ingested or come into contact with eggs directly. At 4 1/2 Everett just started eating eggs. Ricky not paying attention sat at Everett's plate and started eating his breakfast taco. Not sure how much egg he may have had. As a result he broke out in hives for several days. We treated with Benedryl and Zyrtec. We hope this never happens again!
